Sustainable Garden, South Woodford

Our assessment: a Victorian end of terrace garden. Existing landscape materials included paving slabs, a large supply of London stock bricks, original railway sleepers, a variety of sculptures and planted containers.

Sustainable design: together with the client we agreed that a sustainable approach to the design was the right solution, as well as being environmentally friendly it would also be economical in terms of materials.

The design included working with existing paving to create paths, divide areas, create a herb garden, a seating area plus a food growth area. Railway sleepers were used for shelving and London stock bricks to install a wildlife pond.
